Single 'Favourite' nib No. 145 by M Myers & Sons Ltd Pellet Pointed nib with a fine point and medium/strong flexibility. Good, smooth feel on paper, nice action and excellent ink flow. Holds a good quantity of ink, gives thin and thick lines. Shown loaded into our J and T's multi purpose holder. Showing the top and underside of the nib. An indication of the nib size. Fits correctly into the William Mitchell and the J&T multi holders only M Myers and Son Ltd original box M Myers and Son started in about 1837, moving during their history to a number of locations in Birmingham, Newhall Street; Charlotte Street and finally Langley Street in Oldbury. Beside making dip pen nibs they also made drawing office equipment, steel springs, bicycle parts and the famous 'Bull dog clip'. They ceased nib making in the 1960's but continued with precision pressings until the company was sold in 1985.
